Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and Honda Team Up to Offer Student Internship (Co-op) Program
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ invites current students, high school students, and their parents to learn more about the direct pathway developed to lead students into a manufacturing career at Honda. The College will hold an information session on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the Emerson Center at the Piqua Campus, Rooms 504-505.
November 18, 2025
Equipment service technicians are currently in demand at Honda and require technical and analytical skills to identify and solve problems quickly. The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ to Honda Manufacturing Pathway program helps prepare students with the skills needed to take on these in-demand roles.
The program is available to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ students who pursue an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering Technology with a concentration in Electro-Mechanical or Automation and Robotics.
Participating students will have the opportunity to intern (co-op) at Honda up to 29 hours per week, work with a mentor to gain confidence and skills, earn money while completing a college degree, gain experience to add to their resume, and graduate and start a career in modern manufacturing.
Co-ops will start out making at least $25.23 per hour and increase to $30.04 per hour at 30 credit hours. Those hired full-time will earn $36.04 per hour or $74,963.20 per year.
The Honda Co-op Information Session will also include pizza and drinks, Honda swag, raffle prizes, and an optional campus tour.
